Answer:

Many Asians and Pacific Islanders immigrated to the United States during the 1900s in search of a better quality of life, better job opportunities, greater economic well-being, and political and social stability. That is, they went to America to fulfill the American dream, escaping autocratic regimes in their countries, leaving behind underdevelopment in pursuit of a better life for themselves and their families.

Hitler became dictator with the help of the: Nazi party communist party Fascist party
Andrews [41]
I know that many of the Nazi soldiers were acting against their own will, and following Hitler because it was either that, or death. So you can cross of Nazi Party helping him out. And based on the differences between communism and fascism, with fascism being way more overontrolling and nationalist, my educated guess would be that the fascist party helped hitler become dictator.

Which river was not part of the Louisiana Purchase?
Setler [38]

The correct option is D

The Ohio is a river of the east of the United States that flows in southeasterly by the states of Pensilvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois - forms the southern limit of these three last ones, West Virginia and Kentucky - forms the northern limit of these two - Draining in the Mississippi River near the city of Cairo (Illinois). It has a length of 1579 km, but with one of its sources, the Allegheny River, it reaches 2108 km, which places it among the 10 largest rivers in the United States. It drains a basin of 490 601 km², out of a total of 14 states, most of the northeast of the country.

It has a major importance in the history of the United States, both for the Amerindian tribes and for the European settlers, since it was a privileged transportation route during the conquest of the West. Its main tributaries are the Tennessee, on the left, and the Wabash, on the right. In the eighteenth century it constituted the southern frontier of the northern states, de facto marking the boundary between the states that practiced slavery and those that had abolished it.

Why was the U.S navy useful in the war with mexico?
Radda [10]

Answer:

The Navy played a major role in securing that victory. By blockading Mexico's port cities, the Navy strangled Mexico's maritime trade and prevented its forces from threatening U.S. operations from the sea. The Navy also performed an essential service in transporting men and materiel for the Army.

What did president Adams do to protect U.S. ships from the Atlantic
Bingel [31]
President Adams paid tribute to the Barbary Pirates. In exchange for the tribute, the pirates would help protect U.S. Ships. This kept the pirates on our side and kept Britain and France from bothering us. Both were attacking our ships. Britain would also start to impress sailors (kidnap them and force them to work their ships).
