Answer:

X = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Angles on a straight line=180°

180-151=29°

sum of angles in a triangle= 180°

11x-1+20-3+29=180

11x+20x-3-1+29=180

31x+25=180

31x=180-25

31x=155

divide both sides by 31

X=5

(11x-1)°= 55-1= 54°

(20x-3)°= 100-3= 97°

54°+97°+29°=180°

Immanuel is building a fence to make an enclosed play area for his dog. The enclosed area will be in the shape of a triangle wit
zysi [14]

The area (A) of a triangle is given by the formula

A=\dfrac{1}{2}bh

where b is the length of the base (48 m) and h is the altitude (32 m). Filling in the numbers, we compute the area to be

A=\dfrac{1}{2}\cdot (48\,m)\cdot (32\,m)=768\,m^2

The dog's play space is 768 square meters.

Which is an equation in point-slope form for the given point and slope? Point:(2,-6) Slope:-3/4
Fynjy0 [20]
The equation for point-slope form is

y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1})

m being the slope, y1 being the second point in the (2, -6) and the x1 being the first point in the (2, -6).

So the equation would look like this (for point-slope):

y-(-6)=- \frac{3}{4}(x-2) \\ or \\ y+6=-  \frac{3}{4}(x-2)

If you're looking for slope-intercept form you can simplify the equation:

y+6=- \frac{3}{4}(x-2) \\  \\ y+6=- \frac{3}{4}x+ \frac{6}{4} \\  \\ y+6-6=- \frac{3}{4}x+ \frac{6}{4}-6 \\  \\ y=- \frac{3}{4}x- \frac{18}{4}

If you're looking for the standard form of the equation, you can take the slope-intercept equation and turn it into standard form:

y=- \frac{3}{4}x- \frac{18}{4} \\ 4y=4(- \frac{3}{4}x- \frac{18}{4}) \\ 4y=-3x-18 \\ 4y+3x=-3x-18+3x \\ 4y+3x=-18 \\ 3x+4y=-18

If 6m by 15m is a pond ,is 40m would be enough for fencing the pond
Veseljchak [2.6K]
If the pond were a rectangle, then:
length=15 m
width=6 m

We would have to calculate the perimeter of this rectangle.
Perimeter of a rectangle=2(length)+2(width)

Perimeter of this rectangle=2(15 m)+2(6 m)=30 m+12 m=42 m

We need 42 m and I only have 40 m, therefore, it would not be enough for fencing the pond.
