Drag the tiles to the correct boxes to complete the pairs. Not all tiles will be used. Identify the domain for each of the given
avanturin [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we define the variables:

x: number of years after 1950

f (x): amount of vinyl sold.

Then, with the variables defined, we have:

68594 vinyl records were sold in 1958 ---------> f (8) = 68594

91299 vinyl records were sold in 1961 ---------> f (11) = 91299

38720 vinyl records were sold in 1952 ---------> f (2) = 38720

161743 vinyl records were sold in 1967 ---------> f (17) = 161743

If R= {(1,2), (3,4), (5,6), (8,9)} find the domain and range of R a. Find value of X and Y.

<h2>The Domain and Range of a Set of Ordered Pairs</h2><h3>Answer:</h3>

Domain: x \in \{ 1, 3, 5, 8 \}

Range: y \in \{ 2, 4, 6, 9 \}

<h3>Step-by-step explanation:</h3>

We are given the set of ordered pairs: R. The Domain is just the set containing all the x values of each ordered pair of R. Recall that in the ordered pair (a,b), a is the x value. In set R, we can see that the x values are \{ 1, 3, 5, 8 \}.

For the Range, it is just the set containing all the y values of each ordered pair of R. Recall that in the ordered pair (a,b), b is the y value. In set R, we can see that the y values are \{ 2, 4, 6, 9 \}.

Is it possible for two different numbers, when squared, to give the same result?
lawyer [7]

Actually, yes, it is possible for two different numbers to give the same result when squared.

In my last answer, I wrote that it wasn't, but I realize now where my mistake was made.

When a number like positive 4 is squared, the answer is 16. When a number like negative 4 is squared, the answer is also 16. I think that the only time when two different squared numbers have the same result is when they are the same number but have a different positive/negative sign.

I hope this helps.
