Answer:

-3x^2-18x-40

Step-by-step explanation:

(x+3)^2: x^2+6x+9

= -3(x^2+6x+9)-13

Expand:

-3(x^2+6x+9): -3x^2-18x-27

= -3x^2-18x-27-13

Mother dairy sold 3,355 litres of milk in the month of April and May if they sold equal amount every day what was its daily sale
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

55 litres

Step-by-step explanation:

Litres of milk sold by the dairy in April and May together = 3,355

So,

Litres of milk sold by the dairy per day = ?

To find this we have to do addition and division and have to go through the calender a bit :)

Let's solve it!!

No. of days in April = 30 days

No. of days in May = 31 days

Therefore total no. of days in both the months = 30 + 31

= 61

Now,

Litres of milk sold by the dairy per day ( or in simple words the daily sale )

= \frac{3355}{61}

= 55

Si therefore 55 litres of milk was the daily sale.

Hope it helps you!!

Jonathan’s parents told him that for every 5 hours of homework or reading he completes, he will be able to play 3 hours of video
Studentka2010 [4]
So, to set up this equation, lets just say that Lucas did 5 hours of homework also. The ratio of Lucas's homework to video games is 60 minutes of homework/30 minutes of video games. If we converted the 5 hours into 300 minutes then you would multiply the 60 minutes by 5 and the 30 minutes by 5 also. You would get 300 minutes/150 minutes. Jonathan's ratio is every 5 hours of homework/3 hours of video games. We would convert this to minutes by taking both numbers and multiplying them by 60. We would get 300 minutes/180 minutes. Using this we know that Jonathan gets more time to play video games because every 5 hours of homework he gets 180 minutes of gaming and for Lucas, every 5 hours of homework he only gets 150 minutes of gaming. I hope that this helped you!
