The correct answer is - C) the atmosphere.

The atmosphere is mostly invisible to the naked eye of the humans. It is composed of gassy layers that surround the planet. There's multiple layers in our atmosphere, five to be more precises, the troposphere being the lowest, than the stratosphere, the mesosphere, the thermosphere, and the exosphere.

All of them have their own unique characteristics, be ti in temperature, composition of gases, density, and they all have certain role in the life on the Earth and enabling that it exists.

In what way did Mahan's thesis in The Influence of Sea Power Upon History support the idea of Manifest Destiny?
dybincka [34]
It was a United States naval officer/ historian, also known to be a propagandist to expansion, named Alfred Thayer Mahan who wanted to expand the extent of capacity of the United States and its navy. He wrote “The Influence of Sea Power upon History”. It stated his idea that the countries with the biggest navies and greater sea power over others who could govern the world. With his principles, and knowing that US had at that time the elements of the capability to expand its greatness, he created strategies based on commerce trading and coastal defense to support the Manifest Destiny. Manifest Destiny states that it is the United States who was the ones who were destined to expand across North America.

What was wrong with the ecosystem of Atlas National Park before wolves were added?
Hatshy [7]
On a quiet spring morning, a resounding “Slap!” reverberates through the air above a remote stream leading to Lake Yellowstone. Over much of the past century, it has been a rarely heard noise in the soundscape that is Yellowstone National Park, but today is growing more common-the sound of a beaver slapping its tail on the water as a warning to other beavers.
When the grey wolf was reintroduced into the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in 1995, there was only one beaver colony in the park, said Doug Smith, a wildlife biologist in charge of the Yellowstone Wolf Project.
Today, the park is home to nine beaver colonies, with the promise of more to come, as the reintroduction of wolves continues to astonish biologists with a ripple of direct and indirect consequences throughout the ecosystem.
A flourishing beaver population is just one of those consequences, said Smith.
