Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

I cannot see the options but for vertical compression you need to have values of a that are 0<a<1, then the graph will be compressed.

For example, if we have g(x)= 1/2 x^2 will be compressed by factor of 1/2.

5. Which of 1
Serjik [45]

Answer:

0      3 x 6=(3 X 2)+(3 X 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Distribution property</u> :

The distribution property is an algebraic property that is used to multiply a single value and two or more values within a set of parenthesis. The distributive property states that when a factor is multiplied by the sum/addition of two terms, it is essential to multiply each of the two numbers by the factor, and finally perform the addition operation.

Distribution property     A(B+C)= A.B+A.C

Given   3 x 6= 3 x (2+4)

by using distribution property     A(B+C)= A.B+A.C

                                      3 x 6= 3 x (2+4) =    (3 x 2)  +(3 x  4)

<u>conclusion</u>:-      3 x 6 = (3 x 2)  +(3 x  4)

Mrs. Pine took tennis lessons. She traveled 15 miles one way at an average cost of $0.45 per mile. Her racket cost $84, balls co
stiks02 [169]

Round trip travel: 2*15miles*$0.45/mile = $13.5

Equipment: $84 + $15.50 + $47 + $32 + $22 = $200.50

Tax = $200.50 * 5%/100 = 10.025

Lessons: $25*10 = $250

Total cost = 13.5 + 200.5 + 10.025 + 250 = $474.025

10. 7.42 cm

11. He doesn't have enough money to buy a hat.

12. $10.02

Step-by-step explanation:

9. ⇒

Yesterday walked=1.74 miles

Today walked=2.19 miles

Total walked both days=(1.74+2.19)=3.93miles

10.⇒

Total growth in a month was (12.72-5.3)=7.42 cm

11.⇒

After buying foods, Daniel has (20.39-8.76)=$11.63

The hat is $12

As, 11.63<12    (11.63 is less than 12)

So, he doesn't have enough money to buy a hat.

12.⇒

Penny has $35

Buying a hat and a scarf, Penny has spent (14.99+9.99)=$24.98

Now, Penny will have (35-24.98)=$10.02

Hope, this helps you.
