Step-by-step explanation:

1.2(3cm)×2(6cm)

6cm × 12cm

=72cm²

2. 2(5cm)×2(3cm)

10cm×6cm

60cm²

3.2(6cm)×2(3cm)

12cm × 6cm

72cm²

72cm²+60cm²+72cm²

=204cm²

4. The following intervals were plausible population proportions for a given sample. Find the margin of error in each case.
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer: a. 0.15  b. 0.03 c. 0.055 d. 0.05

Step-by-step explanation:

For plausible intervals of population proportions , the margin of error is basically half of the difference between upper limit and lower limit.

a.  Interval =  From 0.35 to 0.65

Upper limit = 0.65

Lower limit = 0.35

Difference = Upper limit- Lower limit

= 0.65-0.35=0.30

Margin of error = (Difference)÷2  =(0.30)÷2=0.15

b. Interval =  From 0.72 to 0.78

Upper limit = 0.78

Lower limit = 0.72

Difference =  0.78-0.72 = 0.06

Margin of error  =(0.06)÷2=0.03

c. Interval =  From 0.84 to 0.95

Upper limit = 0.95

Lower limit = 0.84

Difference =0.95-0.84= 0.11

Margin of error = (0.11)÷2 = 0.055

d.Interval =  From 0.47 to 0.57

Upper limit =  0.57

Lower limit =  0.47

Difference = 0.57-0.47=0.10

Margin of error = (0.10)÷2=0.05

i’ll give you all my points that i have and rate you good if you answer these three questions before 3:00pm est. if f(x)=8-5x, f
maks197457 [2]
Ok so to start you plug in what’s in the parentheses for x

4c=8-5(4c)
2-k=8-5(2-k)
4p+3=8-5(4p+3)

In the first one you distribute the -5
4c=8-20c
Then add 20c to both sides
24c=8
And divide by 24
C=8/24 or 1/3

Distributing the -5 on the second one gets you
2-k=8-10+5k
Then you combine like terms
2-k=-2+5k
Subtract 5k from both sides
2-6k=-2
Subtract 2 from both sides
-6k=-4
Divide by -6
K=4/6 or 2/3

and lastly the equation is 4p+3=8-5(4p+3)

So you distribute -5
4p+3=8-20p-15
Combine like terms
4p+3=-20p-7
Add 20p to both sides
24p+3=-7
Subtract 3 from both sides
24p=-10
And then divide by 24
P= -10/24 or -5/12

What is the solution of the system?
damaskus [11]
3x +2y= 11 ----1
x -2 = -4y   ---- 2

Equation 2 times by 3
3x -6 = -12y

Subracting 2-1
3x-6=-12y
3x-11=-2y

Leaving
5=-10y
y= -1/2

Hence
B. is the solution

PS, If you rate this as "Brainiest" that would be most appreciated
