Using constructive language shows that you are trying to show to respect the other person you are talking to, showing encouragement shows that you are trying to support them in a uplifting way by saying or doing something encouraging many people respect their parents or older people it kinda shows you are well behaved.
By offering constructive criticism rather than simply criticizing, you are treating the leadership with respect. You are legitimately challenging them and at the same time demonstrating an interest in opening a conversation with them about improvement or change.
