Answer:

I found the table by an online search (it is below)

Sally has $7 to spend in candy.

The price of a chocolate bar is $1.50

The price of a lollipop is $0.75

The price of gumballs is $0.25

In the table, we have the following combinations.

a) 3 chocolate bars, 3 lollipops and 4 gumballs, the price is:

3*$1.50 + 3*$0.75 + 4*$0.25 = $7.75 (she can not buy this)

b) 3 chocolate bars and 4 gumballs, the price is:

3*$1.50 + 4*$0.25 = $5.50 (she can buy this)

c) 1 chocolate bar, 5 lollipops and 2 gumballs, the price is:

1*$1.50 + 5*$0.75 + 2*$0.25 =  $5.75 (she can buy this)

d) 2 chocolate bars, 2 lollipops and 8 gumballs, the price is:

2*$1.50 + 2*$0.75 + 8*$0.25 = $6.50 (she can buy this)

Two boys are throwing a baseball back and forth. The ball is 4 ft above the ground when it leaves one child’s hand with an upwar
Sophie [7]
H(t) = at^{2} + vt +  H_{0}
H(t) = -16t^{2} + 36t + 4
H(2) = -16(2)^2 + 36(2) + 4
H(2) = -64 + 72 + 4
H(2) = 12

Therefore, two seconds after being thrown the ball is 12 feet above the ground.

The number of chairs in a row at an opera house follows the arithmetic series: tn = 25 + (n - 1)4. if there are going to be 50 r
Rainbow [258]

Using an arithmetic sequence, it is found that the opera house will have 6150 chairs.

<h3>What is an arithmetic sequence?</h3>

In an arithmetic sequence, the difference between consecutive terms is always the same, called common difference d.

The nth term of an arithmetic sequence is given by:

a_n = a_1 + (n - 1)d

In which a_1 is the first term.

The sum of the first n terms is given by:

S_n = \frac{n(a_1 + a_n)}{2}

In this problem, the sequence is:

t_n = 25 + 4(n - 1)

Hence the first term and the common ratio are given, respectively, by:

a_1 = 25, d = 4

Then the 50th term is:

t_{50} = 25 + (50 - 1) \times 4 = 221

The number of chairs is the <u>sum of the first 50 terms</u>, hence:

S_n = \frac{n(a_1 + a_n)}{2}

S_n = 25(25 + 221) = 6150

Amelia is 17 inches long. She add 8 more inches to her line. How long is her line now?
Alenkasestr [34]

I’m going to assume that the original line she had was 17 inches long. Since she ADDED 8 to the original line, just add:

17 + 8 = 25

Therefore, her line is now 25 inches.

Best of Luck!

Cinder cone volcanoes = 13
Shield volcanoes = 18
Stratovolcanoes = 6

Total number of volcanoes:
= 13 + 18 + 6
= 37

________________
P (cinder cone):
13/37 = 0.35

P (shield):
18/37 = 0.49

P (stratovolcano)
6/37 = 0.17
