I think it is propoganda because the statement is doing more than forming an opinion. By saying "If purchased, will serve all of your digital needs" tells me that this statement is promoting Itablets. But I am not 100% sure.

By knowing who or what the other character is, it becomes clear why they are speaking to Alice and what their motivations are. The reader will then be able to understand the scenario and the events that are happening.
The answer is B. It enables the audience to connect with the storyteller. This is super important in any type of story so you can feel what they are trying to portray in their own words.
