You can imagine the wave being a circle.

The highest point on the unit circle would have the y value of 1 and since that's a quarter of a circle past, it would have a x value of pi/2

Henceforth, the first answer would be (pi/2, 1)

Taking the same before analogy, the point would be in the middle of the circle therefore it would have the y value of 0.

Since it completed a half of the circle's circumference, it would have the x value of pi.

Henceforth, the second answer would be (pi, 0)

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  Bob

Step-by-step explanation:

The "steepness," or slope, of the mountain is the ratio of height to horizontal distance to the base:

  Joe's mountain slope = 1200/1500 = 0.8

  Bob's mountain slope = 900/1000 = 0.9

Bob's mountain has a greater slope than Joe's. Bob climbed the steeper mountain.

Answer:

\frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum the frequency column to find the total number of students

total = 2 + 9 + 5 + 5 + 3 = 24

number of students finished in less than 20 mins = 2 + 9 + 5 = 16

fraction of students = \frac{16}{24} = \frac{2}{3}

Milan puts 1/4 of her lawn mowing money savings and uses 1/2 of the remaining money to pay back her sister.If she has 15$ left,
Feliz [49]

Answer:

$40

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount of money she has at first be $x.

She put 1/4 for savings, this means she decides to spend 3/4. The 3/4 is equivalent to (3/4)x

Now, she puts half of the money not saved to pay back her sister and has $15 left.

This means the (3/4)x is equivalent to $30. This is because she used half which is $15 to pay back her sister.

Now, since (3/4)x equals 30, we calculate x

(0.75)x = 30

x = 30/0.75 = $40

She originally had $40

a place kickee in pro football has a 77% probability of making a field goal over 40 yards and each attempted field goal is indep
aleksklad [387]

The probability of making his 4th attempt is 0.77, since the probability of each attempt is independent.

The probability of making a field goal over 40 yards is 77%

Since the probability of making a field goal is independent, then the probability of succeeding in his 4th attempt does not depend on his previous attempts.

Hence, the probability of making his fourth attempt is the probability of making a field goal over 40 yards in each attempt which is 77% = 0.77

Hence, the probability of making it is 0.77
