Answer & Step-by-step explanation:

For a polynomial of the form ax^{2}+bx+c , rewrite the middle term as a sum of two terms whose product is a×c=6×−12=−72 and whose sum is b=−1.

Factor −1 out of −x.

6x^{2}−(x)−12

Rewrite −1 as −9 plus 8

6x^{2}+(−9+8)x−12

Apply the distributive property.

6x^{2}−9x+8x−12

Factor out the greatest common factor from each group.

Group the first two terms and the last two terms.

(6x^{2}-9x)+8x−12

Factor out the greatest common factor (GCF) from each group.

3x ( 2 x − 3 ) + 4 ( 2 x − 3 )

Factor the polynomial by factoring out the greatest common factor, 2 x − 3 .

(2x−3)(3x+4)

What is the solution to the system of equation

-2x+6y=-38
3x-4y=32
Alla [95]

Answer:

x= 4

y= -5

Step-by-step explanation:

-2x+6y=-38    equation 1

3x-4y=32     equation 2

using equation 1 we have:

-2x+6y=-38

6y +38 = 2x

3y + 19 = x   equation 3

using equation 3 in equation 2 we have:

3(3y + 19) - 4y = 32

9y + 57 -4y =32

5y = 32 -57

5y = -25

y= -25/5

y = -5

so we have:

3y + 19 = x

3(-5) +19 = x

x= 4

What information is needed to determine that the two triangles are congruent be ASA?
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

ASA: If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding parts of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. SAS: If any two angles and the included side are the same in both triangles, then the triangles are congruent.
