Answer:

The inadequacy of efforts to improve the lives of American Indians.

Explanation:

These groups are created to discuss policies to ensure the rights of indigenous peoples in America. Indigenous rights are often neglected and there is an inequity in guaranteeing these rights when the policies made to improve the lives of the natives are made by the "white man." For this reason, indigenous people have created groups such as the National Congress of Native Americans so that they can discuss and form policies that guarantee their rights and guarantees before society.

A major reason for the formation of groups like the National Congress of American Indians was the inadequacy of efforts to improve the lives of American Indians. The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) is an American Indian and Alaska Native indigenous rights organization. It was founded in 1944 to represent the tribes and resist federal government pressure for termination of tribal rights and assimilation of their people.Activists formed the National Congress of American Indians to find ways to organize the tribes to deal in a more unified way with the US government. The men and women who founded the National Congress of American Indians represented tribes from 27 states. While the National Indian Youth Council was organizing somewhat rebellious college students, the National Congress of American Indians worked closely with the Kennedy administration on its new Indian program, which placed heavy emphasis on increasing the economic viability of the tribes through attracting industry and tourists to reservations while also helping Indians to "relocate" in cities. The National Congress of American Indians refused to endorse the Poor Peoples' March. The National Congress of American Indians and the various regional intertribal organizations had a perspective quite different from that of the militants.

Help in your own words
How would you improve our educational system?
Dimas [21]

Answer:

Put less pressure on students.

One of the greatest shortcomings of the American educational system is the amount of pressure that students exert to do well in school so that they can get into a good university. Teachers sometimes give so much more work that I can't learn in a way that I enjoy what they are teaching me so that I can have that knowledge forever and not like some teachers give a lot of homework no matter how much pressure they put on the students.
