The question is incomplete, and the full version can be found on Brainly.

Answer:

Adjectives: tired, wild.

Verb: chase.

Explanation:

There are two different versions of this question. One asks which is the verb, while the other one asks which are the adjectives.

A verb is a word, or a sequence of words, that describes an action or a state of being. In a sentence, the verb describes an action performed by the subject. In this example, the verb is "chase", which describes the action performed by the cowboys.

An adjective modifies a noun or pronoun by stating a quality such as size, form, duration, and many other features. In this example, the adjective "tired" modifies the cowboys, and the adjective "wild" modifies the horses.

Read the following excerpt from Levitt and Dubner’s Freakonomics.
Arte-miy333 [17]

It can be inferred that Feldman reaches the conclusion that most people are honest without receiving an incentive by: "studying a counterclaim about morality and arriving at a broad generalization." (Option D)

What is an inference?

When conclusions are reached by the examination of facts from one or more texts and the arrival of deductions from the same, an inference has been made.

In the above text, the writer studies various sources and then draws a conclusion having examined those sources. Hence, the correct answer is D.

Answer:

1 is A, 2 is D, 3 is A, 4 is D, 5 is C

Explanation:

1. Gravity does not move the rock by it self, something else has to hit/crack the rock in order for gravity to take place. 2. When water flows into the cracks of rocks and freezes, the ice expands farther and cracks more of the rock. 3. Every time a grain of sand hits the gravestone, the sand particle takes a little of the gravestone with it, eventually changing the gravestone entirely. 4. When water flows down the hill, the water particles take some dirt with it. The tarp is there to not let the raindrops touch the dirt. 5. When the sand hits the wall over a long period of time, it erodes the softer material in the rock, leaving the harden rock exposed.

Hope this helped, this took a while.
