The right solution to the given question is "\frac{2}{23}", "\frac{6}{23}" and "\frac{5}{23}".

According to the question,

  • a+b+c+d = 230
  • b = 20
  • a+b = 80

By putting the value of "b", we get

  • a+20=80

                a = 80-20

                a = 60

  • b + c=120

By putting the value of "b", we get

      20+c=120

              c = 120-20

              c = 100

  • d = 230-60-100-20

By putting the values of "a", "b", "c" and "d", we get

       d = 50

(a)

P(both Chili's and Red lobster),

= \frac{b}{a+b+c+d}

= \frac{2}{23}

(b)

P(only chili's),

= \frac{a}{a+b+c+d}

= \frac{6}{23}

(c)

P(neither),

= \frac{d}{a+b+c+d}

= \frac{5}{23}
