I am pretty sure that if you are looking for perimeter there should only be two sets of numbers but if you are looking for area than the answer would be 212.0625

Answer:

218 square feet will be painted.

Step-by-step explanation:

A cement block is in the shape of a rectangular prism that measures 4.5 feet by 7.25 feet by 6.5 feet.

Rectangular prism is a cuboid shape. We have to find the total surface area of cuboid.

Formula:

\text{Total surface area}=2(lb+bh+lh)

where, l=4.5 feet, b=7.25 feet and h=6.5 feet .

\text{Total surface area}=2(4.5\times 7.25+7.25\times 6.5 +6.5\times 4.5)

\text{Total surface area}=218\text{ ft}^2

We will paint entire block of cement i.e must be equal to 218 square feet.

Hence, 218 square feet will be painted.

sergey [27]
The mnemonic SOH CAH TOA helps you remember the relevant trig relationship is
   Sin(α) = Opposite/Hypotenuse
   sin(α) = (1 ft)/(14 ft)
   α = arcsin(1/14) ≈ 4°

The angle the ramp makes with the sidewalk is 4°.

A simple die is thrown 100 times and the number five appears 14 times. Find the experimental probability of throwing a five, giv
mario62 [17]

Answer:

The experimental probability of throwing a five is 0.087.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Number of trials (n) = 100

Number of times 5 appears (x) = 14

Let the event of occurrence of 5 be success and the probability represented by 'p'. So, all the other numbers occurrence is failure and its probability is represented as 'q'.

Probability of success is given as:

p=\frac{Number\ of\ favorable\ events}{Total\ number\ of\ outcomes}

Favorable event is occurrence of 5. So, its number is 1 as there is only one 5 in the die. Total outcomes are 6 as there are six numbers. So,

p=\frac{1}{6}

Now, probability of failure is given by the formula:

q=1-p=1-\frac{1}{6}=\frac{5}{6}

Now in order to find the experimental probability of 14 successes out of 100 trials, we apply Bernoulli's theorem which is given as:

P(x) = ^nC_xp^xq^{n-x}

Plug in all the given values and find the probability of 14 successes. This gives,

P(x=14)=^{100}C_{14}(\frac{1}{6})^{14}(\frac{5}{6})^{100-14}\\\\P(x=14)=0.087

Therefore, the experimental probability of throwing a five is 0.087.

How do i work out inverse proportion
elixir [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:The equation for inverse proportion is x y = k or x = k/ y. Therefore, for finding the value of the constant k, you can use the known values and then use this formula to calculate all the unknown values.

Answer:

\frac{5}{-1.6}

Step-by-step explanation:

We will solve the given expressions and find the answer in decimals.

1). 5\frac{6}{15}+(-2\frac{4}{5}) = 5\frac{2}{5}-2\frac{4}{5}

                   = 5.4 - 2.8

                   = 2.6

2). -3\frac{3}{10}-(-\frac{7}{20})=-3\frac{3}{10}+\frac{7}{20}

                           = -3.3 + 0.35

                           = -2.95

3). \frac{5}{-1.6}=-\frac{5}{1.6}

      = -3.125

4). (-4.5) × (-2.3) = 10.35

Solution of the expressions in the increasing order will be,

-3.125 < -2.95 < 2.6 < 10.35

\frac{5}{-1.6}
