through all the research I did all the answers I can find was mainly about war. Sparta focused on making good soldiers and all sparta male citizens were apart of the army. The army played an important role in the Greek victory over the Persians. Spartans were very good at combat even against larger armies. Spartans were also known to keep their women disciplined and strong as well.
