Answer:

The War of 1812 had an impact on getting the Industrial Revolution started in the United States. After the war, people realized that the country was too reliant on foreign goods. They felt that the United States needed to make its own goods and to build better transportation.

Answer: So like people took over the earth. They was like we need more stuff then they decided to build stuff and it was cool. But darn the war had to come around in 1812 during the industrial revolution so it was all these men out there fighting and to some degree women were out doing stuff cause there man couldn't work and they got whatever jobs they could in the factories to support their families cause there husband was fighting the war. This lead to an increase in women who worked in factories and was the stepping stone to the women's rights movement later on.

What is the solution to this system of equations?
drek231 [11]
The answer would be B (3, one-half)

Explanation:
If you add the two equations together, the +2y and -2y cancel out, leaving 3x=9.
So, we know that x is three (9/3=3)
Substitute x as 3 in either equation (I used the first)
3+2y=4
2y=1
y= 1/2

So, x is 3 and y is one-half, making the answer B

The Whig Party won the election of 1840 because they supported William Henry Harrison, who was a much celebrated war hero during his time.
