The answer would be B (3, one-half)

Explanation:
If you add the two equations together, the +2y and -2y cancel out, leaving 3x=9.
So, we know that x is three (9/3=3)
Substitute x as 3 in either equation (I used the first)
3+2y=4
2y=1
y= 1/2

So, x is 3 and y is one-half, making the answer B
