How can you tell if a diamond is real or fake

Social Studies

Ratling [72]2 years ago

Answer:

To tell if your diamond is real, place the stone in front of your mouth and, like a mirror, fog it up with your breath. If the stone stays fogged for a few seconds, then it's probably a fake. A real diamond won't fog up easily since the condensation doesn't stick to the surface.

Your friend Les is feeling awful after getting an unsatisfactory grade at midterm. He says to you "I'm not sure I should stay in
Anna [14]

Answer:

In cognitive approach our thoughts govern our feelings

Explanation:

In this example the friend is feeling quite upset over an event that we all face one time or another in life. This person is experiencing the feeling of disappointment.  If you were to counsel this individual it would first be beneficial to let them know that the feeling of disappointment is a part of life's experience.

The second approach is to address the college class/major that they are enrolled in.  Is it something that they like or feel passionate about. If not can they find such a thing in college? The may say yes and continue or they may say no and they could explore the things that they are passionate about.

Not every passion requires a college degree. It's important for them to first find their passion and see what they can do to enhance that. More than thinking that college is right for them. Changing the way they feel about disappointment is key.
