Answer: Hello Mia!! ^^ here's your answers:

Explanation: 4. Diversity of religion was a feature of the Roman Empire. The Romans conquered many ethnic groups which had different religions and customs allowed them to worship their religions and follow their customs. Rome itself only had one religion, the Roman religion. Because the empire included a wide ethnic mix, and through its extensive trading links, it became multicultural.

5. Originally there was a distinction between patricians and plebeians. The patricians were the aristocracy and the plebeians were the commoners; that is, all non-patricians. There were rich and poor plebeians. Originally the patricians monopolized political power, the offices of state, the senate and the priesthoods. Over time, the rich plebeians obtained power-sharing with the patricians and gained access to the offices of state, the senate and most of the priesthoods.

6. Ferril (1998) has argued that the Roman Republic fell due to it’s barbarization, that the influx of German mercenaries in to the Roman military led to lack of loyalty and complacency amongst the Roman ranks, leading to a surge in decadence amongst the Roman soldiers and citizenry.

7. The social division in Roman Republic society was on the basis of money, power and authority. The major factor in Roman Republic social hierarchy always remained the wealth that distinguishes the people of Roman Republic in various classes. The more a person was wealthier more powers & authorities he & his family could enjoy.

The finches on the Galápagos Islands more closely resemble the finches on the nearby continent of South America than the finches
4vir4ik [10]
I believe the reason for this would be geographical evolution. Different ecosystems cause the finches to evolve differently over time. Also, since the finches on the Galápagos Islands are closer to the one in South America, it is likely that finches from there (South America) could have moved to the islands, contributing to the evolutionary process.

After the war of 1812, the first expansionist goal of the republic was the acquisition of Florida, since this was the closest and most attainable area next to New England. Although they would soon seek California.
