Dear SailorMars, since I don't have a phone I will show my work on this chat. For 2. we can do 1x1x28=28 cm³ and 2x2x7=28cm³ which will have a square base, which is 2 possible molds. For 3. we can do 10x1x36=360in³, 10x2x18=360in³, 10x3x12=360in³, 10x4x9=360in³, and 10x6x6=360in³ which will have a dimension of 10 in, which is 5 possible molds.
For 4. multiply 12x8x4=384in³ and multiply 20x15x9=to get 2700in³. With the two measurements, subtract 2700-384=2316in³ of space in the box.
For 5. multiply the equations 5x2x1, 5x2x2, 5x2x3, 5x2x4, and 5x2x5 to get the volumes in order 10ft³, 20ft³, 30ft³, 40ft³, and 50ft³.
For 6. multiply the equations 3x6, 3x7, 3x8, 3x9, 3x10, 3x11, and 3x12 to get the inches in order 18 in, 21 in, 24 in, 27 in, 30 in, 33 in, 36 in.
For 1. multiply 6x8x10 to get 480 in³; the answer is C
For 2. multiply 12x8=96 and divide 576/96 to get 6 in; the answer is A
For 3. 7:50+ :28= 8:18 PM then 8:18+2: =10:18 PM; the answer is D
For 4. it's a square pyramid because a square pyramid has squares and pyramids; the answer is D
For 5. multiply 24x12x14=4032 in³; the answer is D
For 6. multiply 2x3x6 to get 36m³; the answer is C

Nasser invested $550 at 6% simple interest for 5 years. What was his investment worth after 5
kirill [66]

Answer:

B. $715

Step-by-step explanation:

By multiplying your starting value, in this case $550, and your (simple) interest, 6%, or by 1.06 as 0.06 being your interest value and the 1.00 accommodating your starting value you will multiply, $550 × 1.06 = $583. Repeat these steps for however many years you are account for, in this case, five years. Giving you a total of $715

Citrus2011 [14]

The complete exercise with the answer options is as follows:

Mancini's Pizzeria sells four types of pizza crust. Last week, the owner tracked the number sold of each type, and this is what he found.

Type of Crust Number Sold

Thin crust 364

Thick crust 240

Stuffed crust 176

Pan style 260

Based on this information, of the next 3000 pizzas he sells, how many should he expect to be thick crust? Round your answer to the nearest whole number. Do not round any intermediate calculations.

Answer:

692 thick crust pizzas

Step-by-step explanation:

With the data given in the exercise, we must first find the total number of pizzas, then we must find the proportion between the thick crust pizzas and the total number of pizzas, finally we must propose a rule of three to find the new proportion of crust pizzas thick on a total of 3000 pizzas.

Type of Crust Number Sold

Thin crust 364

Thick crust 240

Stuffed crust 176

Pan style 260

total pizzas : 1040

Now we must calculate for 3000 pizzas how much would be the total of thick crust pizzas. For that we must use the relationship found, that is, in 1040 pizzas there are 240 thick crust pizzas

1040→240

3000→x

x= \frac{3000x240}{1040} = 692

Now we have a new proportion that out of 3000 pizzas there are a total of 692 thick crust pizzas

ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Corresponding angles are angles that you can follow down the transversal and they will land in the same spot on the other parallel line. Look at angle 8. It is the bottom left angle in the group of 4 angles around it. If you slide it to the left it would land right on top of angle 4 which is also in the bottom left of its group of 4 angles.

You can do the same thing taking angle 8 down to angle 12.

Kelsey makes pendants that she would like to sell at an upcoming craft fair. She must pay $200 to rent a booth at the craft fair
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

Additional 26 pendants are to be sold to make profit.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rent of booth at the craft fair = $200

Cost of material for each pendant = $7.80

Let Kelsey makes x number of pendants.

To calculate the total spending, we have to add the rent of booth at the craft fair and cost of material for x number of pendants.

Cost of material for x number of pendants = Cost of material for each pendant multiplied by number of pendants

Cost of material for x number of pendants = $7.80 \times x

So, total cost = $200 + $7.80 \times x

Now, each pendant is sold at $13.50

So, total money made by selling x pendants = $13.50 \times x

For making profit, total money made must be greater than the total cost.

Therefore, the inequality becomes:

\bold{13.50 \times x  > 200+7.80\times x }

Let us solve the inequality now:

13.50x - 7.80x>200\\\Rightarrow 5.7x > 200\\\Rightarrow \bold{x > 35.08}

So, at least 36 pendants are to be sold to make a profit.

Additional 36-10 = 26 pendants are to be sold to make profit.
