Are tests like ACT and SAT effective for measuring student intelligence? why or why not?
zimovet [89]

Answer:

This is a very opininated answer. ACT and SAT tests are standardized tests like many others. One test should not define a persons intelligence or knowledge. First, the SAT/ACT have specificallly "book smart" problems. This means that generally just because you do good on one of these tests, doesn't mean you are a problem solver. Another problem with the accuracy for these tests is the fact that it is one test. Someone may be a horrible test taker but get all A's. These tests do not accurately measure intelligence as well as many other things.

uranmaximum [27]
<span>When you feel like you've written a lot without really saying anything the best thing to do is B. put your draft aside for a couple of days and then review your thesis and main points.
If you aren't in a hurry to write, then this is definitely what you should do. This way, you will feel rejuvenated and perhaps come up with many new ideas that you will be able to implement into your writing. Thus, you won't repeat the same points all the time.
