Explanation:

He did more than most and did it all during the most violent time in American history. Maybe not anymore but kinda. Some may not see it the same way but he also gave his life by working for what he believed was right and then being assassinated for what he believed.

The Great Depression of 1929-33 was the most severe economic crisis of modern times. Millions of people lost their jobs, and many farmers and businesses were bankrupted. Industrialized nations and those supplying primary products (food and raw materials) were all affected in one way or another.
States like Oklahoma, the panhandle of Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Portions of New Mexico were devastated.

The purpose of the Enforcement Acts was to implement and extend the fundamental guarantees of the Constitution to all citizens and protect African Americans from violence perpetrated by the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). The Enforcement Acts are therefore also referred to as the 1871 Civil Rights Act or the Ku Klux Klan Act.
