Answer:

70 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay so we know the whole circle around equals 360 degrees half of that is 180 degrees so far we know arc FG and IH. Also we know that arcs EF & GH are going to equal the same degree. So if you subtract 180 - 40 leaves you 140 divide that by two which gives you 70 degrees. so the answer for arc GH is 70 degrees

Lelu [443]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1). By applying Pythagoras theorem in the triangle formed by two sides and the diagonal,

Length of the diagonal = \sqrt{(\text{side})^2+(\text{side})^2}

                                      = (\text{side})\sqrt{2}

                                      = 25√2

                                AC ≈ 35.56 units

2). Since, diagonal of a square is the angle bisector of interior angles of the square,

m∠CAB = 45°

By applying sine rule in ΔABC,

sin(45°) = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{AB}{AC}

\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{25}{AC}

AC = 25√2

AC ≈ 35.56 units
