What is a single discount rate and how does it apply to chain discounts?
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

Single discount rates are one off discounts which are given by seller on certain products with certain conditions which most be met for it to apply such conditions can be for buyers who pay in cash, buyers who buy in bulks e.g buy 10 get one free, or for every 5 bought you get a 5% discount e.t.c.

This is related to chain discount because its also a series of discount which is allowed for list price of products or services.

What is the height of a rectangle when I base is 8 ft and the area is 30 ft
ZanzabumX [31]
To do this you have to fill in the equation base*height=area, but you don't know the height, so we'll use h for height. Plugging in the numbers you gave me, the equation is: 8*h=30. To solve this, we need to find h. To find height you do \frac{area}{base}. Doing this, we get h = 3.75 ft.

Hope this helped!
