Answer:

5.5g + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Change the 3.5g - 1.5 into a addition expression... 3.5g + (-1.5)

2. Use the commutative and associative property: (3.5g + 2g) + (2.5 + (-1.5))

3. Solve. 3.5g + 2g = 5.5 g and 2.5 + (-1.5) = 1

4. Add the numbers together: 5.5g + 1

What is an equation of the line that passes through the points (-4, 8) and<br> (2, -1)?
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

Kayla,  learn this,  :D  more math is based on it.  Just learn it, just memorize the following

Step-by-step explanation:

m = slope

m = rise / run

m = y2 - y1   /  x2 - x1       ( this is still rise over run but in point form )

they give us two points to plug into the above formula

P1 = (-4, 8 )  in the form of ( x1, y 1 )

P2 = (2, -1)  in the form of (x2, y2 )

now plug those into the above formula

m = ( -1 - 8 ) / ( 2-(-4) )

m = -9  /  ( 2 + 4 )

m = -9 / 6

m = - 3/2

since we know the slope now  , we can use the point slope equation of

y - y1 = m ( x - x1)

use the m we found and either point  , P1 or P2

y - 8 = -3/2(x -(-4) )

y-8 = -3/2(x + 4)

y-8 = -3/2x - 6

y = -3/2x -6 + 8

y = -3/2x + 2

there you go  :)

Fernanda runs a large bowling league. She suspects that the league average score is greater than 150 per
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

1.20

Step-by-step explanation:

Let mean be represented by M and standard deviation by d. The score will be x and sample number of games be n

To get the test statistic, t for Fernanda's test, we use the formula

t=\frac {M-x}{\frac{s}{\sqrt n}}

Substituting 156 for mean, M then 150 for score x and 30 for standard deviation while 36 for n then

t=\frac {156-150}{\frac{30}{\sqrt 36}}

t=1.20 when put in two decimal place

liberstina [14]

Answer:

A. 1/8, 2/3, 9/10, 7/6

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the fractions to have a common denominator:

1/8 x 11.25/11.25 = 11.25/90

2/3 x 30/30 = 60/90

9/10 x 9/9 = 81/90

7/6 x 15/15 = 105/90

Now easily compare:

11.25/90 < 60/90 < 81/90 < 105/90
