<u>Using the perimeter of the smaller triangle, solve for x.</u>

  • 2(Perimeter of smaller triangle) = Perimeter of larger triangle
  • => 2(3.5 + x + h) = 7 + 4 + 2h
  • => 7 + 2x + 2h = 7 + 4 + 2h
  • => 2x = 4
