The quadratic equation is f(x)=1/2x^2 -5
in order to find f(4) you simply insert 4 in place of C
f(4)= 1/2(4^2)-5
f(4)= 1/2 (16) -5
f(4)= 8-5
f(4)= 3

by double checking the graph you can verify the answer

Len [333]

Answer:

42300000

Step-by-step explanation:

Use known fact

1\ km=1000\ m

Consider 1 square kilometer:

1\ km^2=1\ km\times 1\ km=1000\ m\times 1000\ m=1000000\ m^2

So, to find the answer, you have to multiply given number of square kilometers by 1000000:

42.3\ km^2=42.3\times 1000000\ m^2=42300000\ m^2

Answer:40%.

Since the student got 60% correct, the remaining percentage would be the part they got incorrect.

I got 60% by translating 9/15 into a decimal and moving the decimal point to create a percentage.

Hope this helps!
