This questions can be answered with a calculator, but I have an impression it is meant to be a mental calculation problem, which can be solved as follows.
We know that 10*10=100, in otherwords, √ 100 = 10 which is greater than 9.4247.
We also know that √ 108 is greater than √ 100 =10
So we can conclude that
√ 108 > √ 100 = 10 > 9.4247
or simply
√ 108 > 9.4247
by the transitive property of logical propositions.
Suppose the length of each side of the cube is x, so the volume must be:
x^3.
If the volume is 15 cm^3, so the length must be cuberoot(15) which is not integer,. So, the volume of the cube with integer side never equal with 15 cm^3
The answer is 36. 36 is two digits, 3 and 2, it is a multiple of 6 and 12: 6 times 6 equals 36 and 12 times 3 equals 36, it is a factor of 108: 36 times 3 equals 108, and 36 has digits that equal to 9: 3 plus 6 equals 9.
This one works the same way the last one did.
If -8 is x-2, then x = -6. The corresponding point is (-6, -5).
