Hello there! The answer would be:13

Remember ⬇️

Positive & positive = positive

Negative & positive = negative

Positive & negative = negative

Negative & negative = positive

For problems like this, you can use a number line! =)

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

Hi there!

Here is what the rules says

+ * + = +  (Plus times plus = plus)
+*- = - (Plus times minus = minus)
- * - = + (Minus times minus = Plus
- * + = -  (minus times plus = minus)

You need to know the rules by heart because you will use it a lot.

So let see how it works with the problem

6 -(-7)
What does the rules say? It says
- * - = plus
So, we gonna use PLUS for the sign
6-(-7) = 6 + 7 = 13

13 is the correct answer.

I hope I helped. Please let me know if you have more questions.

What does the slope of the line represent within the context of my graph
Nata [24]
The slope of the line is the velocity, or rate of change, of y with respect to x.  In other terms, the slope tells you how much y will change for every change in x by one unit.  For example if the slope, which is velocity, is 2.  y will increase by two units every time x increases by one unit.  Your graph is not pictured nor explained, so I cannot give you the specific context beyond the principle that the slope of a line is a constant velocity or rate of change.

Please help me on this
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

C. 4 weeks

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the formula

s = 16 \sqrt{7t} + 62

We are looking for the value of t (number of weeks) when s = 150.

So, we isolate t (well, almost isolate, because it would be hard to read)

(\frac{s - 62}{16} )^{2}  = 7t

If we replace s by 150 we get:

7t = (\frac{150 - 62}{16} )^{2} =  (\frac{88}{16} )^{2} =  (5.5 )^{2} = 30.25

We have 7t = 30.25.  If we divide both sides by 7 we get the number of weeks: 4.32... so rounding it down to 4.
