You find the area of a rectangle by multiplying the length times the height, so for the first one it would be 4.5×6.75, and that’s 30.375.

The answer for the first one is 30.375 inches squared.

Then we do the same for the second one, 14×9. That gives us 126.

The answer for the second one is 126 feet squared.
