What does these expression represent? 12f+24
Otrada [13]

Answer: the expression 12f + 24 represents 12 times a quantity, added to 24.

Expplanation.

The expression 12f + 24 is an algebraic expression, especifically a first degree binomial; this is, a polynomial of two terms, whose maximum power is 1.

The algebraic expressions are used to represent word statements in mathematical language.

You can analyze each term of the expression and then tell what the total expresssion represents:

 • The first term 12f, where f is a variable with degree 1 (the exponent of the variable), represents the multiplication of a quantity (represented by the variable f) by 12.
 • 24 is the constant term, it represents an constand addend.
 • Hence, the total expression represents the multiplication of a quantity by 12, and, after the multplication is done, added with 24.

Someone plz help I don’t even know what this means
Vikentia [17]
What you wanna do here is use a calculator, as "e" in mathematics refers to the "e" on a calculator. The tricky part about this question is that the answer for the equation is the given percentage, NOT the value for "x". From there, plug in the multiple choice answers for "x" and see which one works!

In this case, A is the correct answer. B is absurdly large, so I omitted it immediately in the attached picture.

A bag contains 6 blue balls, 3 green balls and 3 yellow balls. What is the probability of choosing one blue ball and then a yell
EastWind [94]
Prob(first ball being blue) = 6 / (6 + 3 + 3) = 6/12 = 1/2
Prob ( picking a yellow ball) = 3 /12 = 1/4

As the 2 events are independent the probabilities are multiplied
So the answer is 1/2 * 1/4 = 1/8
