Parallel = has same slope
On points( 3,4) (-2,2)
(2-4)/(-2-3) = -2/-5 = 2/5 slope

Use same formula: (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Find the slope of the other points:
(-2,-5) and (-7,-3)
(-3-(-5))/(-7-(-2)) = 2/-5 = -2/5

(-1, 1) and (-6, -1)
(-1-1)/(-6-(-1)) = -2/-5 = 2/5

(0,0) and (2,5)
(5-0)/(2-0) = 5/2

(1,0) and (6,2)
(2-0)/(6-1) = 2/5

(3,0) and (8,2)
(2-0)/(8-3) = 2/5

Which has same slope of 2/5?
You can see :)

Can Someone please explain also
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

y = 1/4x -10

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation would be y = 1/4x -10

we know that we have to set the equation up as y=mx+b

m being slope and b being y-intercept

we can see on the graph that the line intercepts the y-axis at -10, so that would be b

for slope, you can just look and count rise over run so:

it goes 10 up and 40 over which equals 10/40 also known as 1/4

hope that helped :)

Create an arithmetic sequence with a common difference of -10
trapecia [35]

Answer:

0, -10, -20, -30, -40, -50, ..., -10(n-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

An arithmetic sequence with a common difference of -10 just indicates that each term adds negative ten to the prior one, which is just subtracting ten.  If you slap a random value as the beginning, zero in my example, then you spam subtract negative tens, you get an arithmetic sequence.  The variable "n" is just the term number - 0 was n=1, -10 was n=2, -20 was n=3, etc.
