No because when you do 2^5 you’re really doing “2x2x2x2x2” and when you do 2x5 you’re really doing “2+2+2+2+2”. The difference is one is repeated addition while the other is repeated multiplication.

I NEED HELP...finding the slope-intercept form equation
Simora [160]

Answer: y=-13/12x-7

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope-intercept form, we first need to find the slope. To find the slope, you use the formula m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1} }. We use the two given points to find the slope.

m=\frac{32-6}{-36-(-12)} =\frac{26}{-24} =-\frac{13}{12}

Now that we have our slope, we can start filling out the slope-intercept form equation.

y=mx+b

y=-13/12x+b

Since we don't know the y-intercept, we can use one of the given points and solve for b.

6=(-13/12)(-12)+b                              [multiply (-13/12) and -12]

6=13+b                                              [subtract both sides by 13]

b=-7

With the y-intercept, we can complete our equation.

y=-13/12x-7

The length of a 1-inch paperclip is about 1.6 x 10−5 miles. It takes about 1.5 x 1010 paperclips linked together to reach the mo
son4ous [18]

Answer:

Distance from the moon is 2.4 × 10⁵ miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of 1-inch paperclip = 1.6\times 10^{-5} miles

Number of paperclips used to reach the moon = 1.5 × 10¹⁰

Total distance from the moon = Number of paper clips used × Length of one clip

= (1.5 × 10¹⁰) × (1.6 × 10⁻5)

= (1.5 × 1.6) (10¹⁰× 10⁻⁵)

= 2.4 × 10⁽¹⁰⁻⁵⁾ miles

= 2.4 × 10⁵ miles

Distance from the moon is 2.4 × 10⁵ miles.

Explain how to use friendly percents to find 35% of 80.
irakobra [83]
In order to find 150% of something, you would add half of the value to itself. so for example, 150% of 9 would be 13.5 because 4.5 is half of 9 and 4.5 • 9 is 13.5. hope this helps!!

Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

Median- 12

Q1- 5

Q3- 43

IQR- 38

Step-by-step explanation:

2, 5, 11, 13, 43, 45

Put your numbers in order of least to greatest

Since there is no given median as the amount of numbers is even, find the number in between the 2 middle numbers, in this case, the number would be 12, as it is in between 11 and 13.

To find Q1 and Q3, you need to find the first and third median, which would be 5 and 43. To find the IQR, you need to subtract Q3 from Q1, which would give you 38 in this equation
