An oil-spill is the massive release of liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment. It usually occurs in the sea. It is due to human activity and causes pollution. The environment is highly affected on this situation. Large-scale oil-spill affects the environment in various ways such as death of several sea creatures such as fishes. It could also lead to contamination of our seafood. and it also cause a long-term damage to the food chain.
