After world war ll, there was a great depression as you should know. caused by a dust bowl which caused crops to be effected into bad ways so farming became hard during this time period. Also they were going through alot of unemployment at the time so yea, it would be farmers facing a rough time or something about how there was unemployment going on and food prices was becoming outragous for people to pay for, so they lowered prices!!

Under the Constitution, the government consists of three branches (Legislative, Executive and Judicial), in which the Legislative has the power to lay and collect taxes. This was quite different under the Articles of Confederation, which established a weak central government that consisted only of a Congress. One of the most important powers the Congress lacked was the power to collect taxes, therefore if they needed to raise money, they could attempt to do so by asking the states for funds (which had the option to reject the request), borrowing from foreign governments, or selling western lands.
The idea that peaceful mind could solve all problems in life helped spread Buddhism. It was especially popular in Eastern Asia because there were no dominant regions at the time and it originated in Asia.
Advantages: changed the way humans lived, allowed humans to form permanent settlements via agriculture, formed social classes, advances in technology
disadvantages: people had poorer nutrition and lower life expectancies, lifestyles were more labor intensive
