During this time many explorers were driven by 3 things, “God, Gold, and Glory”. Firstly the Spanish were driven there in order to expand that of Christianity. They wanted to convert the indigenous people from there original religion. Next, they went there for the intriguing thought of gold. They wanted to be rich. What better way to get rich than gold through the help of trade. Next of glory, glory came from expanding their territory. The more land a country had the more powerful they would be.

Lasting Effects of 9/11 PLEASE HELP ME THIS IS DUE TODAY. September 11, 2001, is the date that the United States suffered a terr
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

1 - 9/11 was the terrorist attack that took place at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and another unknown target. Personally, I believe that the terrorist attack was a tragic loss of life and shows how nations, such as the United States, need to rise and unite against terrorist threats.

2 - I believe that pain and destruction on Earth created by humans has a lot of sources. Whether it is political, for money, or due to the corrupt mind of a human being. It may be for persecution against a race, ethnicity, etc, it may be for control of land, or it could be for religious purposes.

3 - The 9/11 attacks occured due to 19 Islamic terrorists. These terrorists were funded by a man known as Osama Bin Laden. Osama "declared war" against the US in 1998 where he called for the murder of American civilians. The attacks may have occured to incite the United States into a war against the Islamic regimes in the Middle East. It could have also been to deter the United States away from the Middle East and Israel.
