<span>Each piece length will be 1/8 part of the whole piece, so as the total length is 9 yards then we will have that the lengh of each piece is one and eighth yard. The division expression is as follows: Piece length = 9 * 1/8 = 9/8 = (8+1)/8 = 8/8+1/8 = 1 + 1/8 = 1 + 0.125 = 1.125 yards</span>

A principal of $3600 is invested at 7.5% interest, compounded annually. How much will the investment be worth after 6 years?
zaharov [31]

After 6 years the investment is $5555.88

Step-by-step explanation:

A principal of $3600 is invested at 7.5% interest, compounded annually. How much will the investment be worth after 6 years?

The formula used to find future value is:

A(t)=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

where A(t) = Accumulated amount

P = Principal Amount

r = annual rate

t= time

n=  compounding periods per year

We are given:

P = $3600

r = 7.5 %

t = 6

n = 1

Putting values in formula:

A(t)=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}\\A(t)=3600(1+\frac{0.075}{1})^{6*1}\\A(t)=3600(\frac{1.075}{1})^6\\A(t)=3600(1.075)^6\\A(t)=3600(1.543)\\A(t)=5555.88

So, After 6 years the investment is $5555.88

Explain why it's possible to draw more than two different rectangles with an area of 36 square units but if not possible draw mo
gavmur [86]
The area of a rectangle is the result of multiplying its length times its width. So the rectangles length and width are factor pairs of the area.

The number 36 has four non-equal, whole number factor pairs: (1,36) ; (2,18) ; (3,13) ; (4,9)

*note : (6,6) makes a square not rectangle

The number 15 has only two whole number factor pairs (1,15) and (3,5)
