U can use the equation KCF it means Keep Change Flip.
U keep 5/6 change the operation to multiplication from division and flip the fraction 7/8 to 8/7.
5 times 8 =40 so the numerator is 40.
6 times 7 =42 so the denominator is 42.
The fraction is 40/42.
In simplest from it looks like this 20/21

When you are dividing fractions you need to flip the second fraction and change the sign to multiply. So for this question you'd get:
5/6 x 8/7
then you multiply as normal.
getting you the answer of 40/48
this is equivalent to 5/6

Solve for B.
Ax+By=C
What is B equal to?
B=C−Ax/y
B=C/Axy
B=C/Ax −y
B=C−Ax−y
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

B = (C-Ax)/y

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for B.

Ax+By=C

making B the subject of formula '

Ax+By=C

subtract Ax from both sides

By = C-Ax

By = C-Ax

divide both sides by y

B = (C-Ax)/y

Gerald has a punch bowl in the shape of a hemisphere as shown below.
zmey [24]

The closest to the maximum number of cups the punch bowl can hold is 30

How to determine the number of cups?

The given parameters are:

1 cup = 15 cubic inches

Diameter of bowl, d = 12 inches

The radius is the half of the diameter.

So, we have:

r = 6

The volume of the bowl is then calculated using:

V = \frac{2}{3}\pi r^3

This gives

V = \frac{2}{3}\pi * 6^3

Evaluate

V = 452.16

The maximum number of cups is then calculated using:

Cups = 452.16/15

Evaluate

Cups = 30.1444

Approximate

Cups = 30

Hence, the closest to the maximum number of cups the punch bowl can hold is 30
