So 18 is most likely gonna be D 19.5 then question 19 looks a bit bigger so I would go with A 22.5 or it’s gonna be C 19.5 so flip a coin on that one and now for question 20 it’s gonna be 11.3

Your hotdogs currently have a menu price of $2.80 + $.10 for extra sauerkraut. You want to include the sauerkraut in the cost an
jasenka [17]

Answer:

C) $3.77

Step-by-step explanation:

  • $2.80 + $0.10 = $2.90

  • Turn 30% into 0.30 by moving the decimal point (percentage sign) 2 places to the left.

  • To solve 30% of $2.90  →   0.30 x 2.90 = 0.87

  • Finally  $2.90 + $0.87 = $3.77

An ounce is equal to about 28 g. If 1 g of soil contains 2.5 billion bacteria, how many bacteria are in 1 oz of soil?
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

About 700 billion bacteria

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

1oz \approx 28g

1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria

Required

Number of bacteria in 1 oz

1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria

Multiply both sides by 28

28 * 1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria * 28

28g = 700\ billion\ bacteria

Recall that

1oz \approx 28g

This means:

1oz \approx 700\ billion\ bacteria

Factor out the GCF from the terms of the polynomial –4y5 + 6y3 + 8y2 – 2y. A. –2y4 + 3y2 + 4y – 1 B. y(–4y4 + 6y2 + 8y – 2) C. 2
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

Option D) -2y(2y^4-3y^2-4y+1) is correct

Therefore -4y^5+6y^3+8y^2-2y=-2y(2y^4-3y^2-4y+1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given polynomial is -4y^5+6y^3+8y^2-2y

To factorise the given polynomial by taking out the common terms of the given polynomial :

  • -4y^5+6y^3+8y^2-2y
  • =2y(-2y^4+3y^2+4y-1) ( here 2y is GCF common term so taking outside the terms of the polynomial )
  • =-2y(2y^4-3y^2-4y+1) ( now taking (-) outside )

Therefore -4y^5+6y^3+8y^2-2y=-2y(2y^4-3y^2-4y+1)

Option D) -2y(2y^4-3y^2-4y+1) is correct
