Step-by-step

=> 900=-100x+300

=> -100x+300=900

=> -100x=900–300

=> -100x=600 divide both side by -100

=> x=-6

You start with  900= -100x + 300

you want to get x by itself on a side of the equation

you can do this by adding -100x to both sides of the equation

this would make it look like 900 + 100x = -100x + 100x + 300

if you simplify, you get 900 + 100x = 300

then subtract 900 on both sides to get x by itself

you will end up with 100x = -600

you divide both sides by 100 to get x by itself and you will end up with

x = -6

if you have any questions ask me and ill answer :)

(3,4) and (12,19) find the equation of the line that passes through it
harina [27]

Answer:

The equation of the line will be:

y=\frac{5}{3}x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the points

  • (3, 4)
  • (12, 9)

Finding the slope between (3, 4) and (12, 9)

\left(x_1,\:y_1\right)=\left(3,\:4\right),\:\left(x_2,\:y_2\right)=\left(12,\:19\right)

\mathrm{Slope}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

m=\frac{19-4}{12-3}

m=\frac{5}{3}

The equation of the line can be obtained using the point-slope form of the equation of the line

y-y_1=m\left(x-x_1\right)

substituting the values m = 5/9 and the point (3, 4)

y-4=\frac{5}{3}\left(x-3\right)

y-4+4=\frac{5}{3}\left(x-3\right)+4

y=\frac{5}{3}x-1

Therefore, the equation of the line will be:

y=\frac{5}{3}x-1

F(x) = -3 +3
Mila [183]

Answer: Y

Step-by-step explanation:

Since f(x) passes through (0,3), its inverse should pass through (3,0).

  • This eliminates X and Z.

Also, since f(x) has a negative slope, so its inverse should also have a negative slope.

  • This eliminates W.
