heat is considered a transfer of energy as its energy moving from one place to another. Kinetic energy is energy being used so the transfer of energy is the thermal energy

This is called incomplete dominance. When an something is heterozygous for an incomplete dominant gene, the resulting phenotype will be somewhere between the two.
