2. find y'' of y = x(x+2)

y=x²+2x

y'=2x+2

3. find y'' of y = (3x+1)(x-2)

y=3x²+x-6x-2

y=3x²-5x-2

y'=6x-5

4. find y'' of y = (3x+4)squared

y=(3x+4)²

y'=2(3x+4)(3)=6(3x+4)=18x+24

5. find y' of y = 3x-2

y'=3

Solve the quadratic equation by factoring. 9x^2-16=0
Harman [31]

Answer:

x= +- 4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

(3x+4)(3x-4)=0

make each equation set to 0 and solve

3x+4=0

subtract 4 from both sides

3x=-4

divide both sides by 3

x=-4/3

3x-4=0

add 4 to both sides

3x=4

divide both sides by 3

x=4/3

Tell whether lines parallel perpendicular neither y=-3x+7 -2x+6y=3
Alexus [3.1K]
Hey there!!

Hmmm you seem familiar :D

Okay let's get started!!!!  Okay so remember that if two lines are parallel then the slopes must be exactly the same (ex: -4 and -4)  if two lines are perpendicular then the slopes are negative reciprocals (ex: -4 and 1/4)

y = -3x + 7                             -2x + 6y = 3
                                               y = (x/3) + 1/2

So these two are perpendicular since the slopes negative reciprocals

y = (x/5) + 6                           -2x + 10y = 5
                                                y = (x/5) + 1/2

So these lines are parallel since the slopes are exactly equal

I hope this helps!

The product of 3p and q - 3.
shusha [124]
The product of 3p and q-3 would be put in to equation form like this: 3p(q-3)

To find your answer. You have to distribute the 3p to by individually multiplying it by q and -3

It should now look like this: 3pq -9p

So your answer is: 3pq -9p
