1) g=6x divide both sides by 6 -> g/6=x

3)z=m-x subtract both sides by m -> z-m=-x flip the positive negative on each side->-z+m=x or m-z=x

5)u=x-k add k to each side -> u+k=x

7)u=k/a multiply each side by a -> ua=k divide each side by u-> a=k/u

9) 12am=4 divide each side by 12-> am=4/12=1/3 divide each side by m->

a=\frac{\frac{1}{3}}{m}

10)-3x+2c=-3 subtract 2c from ech side ->-3x=-3-2c divide each side by -3            ->x=-3-2c/-3  = 2c+3/3

11)am=n+p divide both sides by m -> a=n+p/m

16)g=x-c+y subtract both sides by y -> g-y=x-c add both sides with c -> g-y+c=x

i hope these are correct

Find what x is? 5×3>4+8+x a good help for your brain!
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

x = 2.25 or any number greater

Step-by-step explanation:

5x3 > 4 + 8 + x

Make them equal to each other to get x

5x3 = 4 + 8 + x

(5x)(3) = 12 + x

- x - 3   - 3  - x

4x = 9

\frac{4x}{4} = \frac{9}{4}

x = 2.25

Once you get x plug it in to get the truth of the expression

Solve.
bixtya [17]

Answer:

-3 ± 2\sqrt{3} = x

Step-by-step explanation:

x² + 6x + 9 = 12 → x² + 6x - 3

Since this Quadratic Expression is unfactorable, apply the <em>Quadratic</em><em> </em><em>Formula</em>:

x = -b ± \frac{\sqrt{{b}^{2} - 4ac}}{2a}

-6 ± \frac{\sqrt{{6}^{2} - 4(1)(-3)}}{2(1)} =   -6 ± \frac{\sqrt{36 + 12}}{2} = -6 ± \frac{\sqrt{48}}{2} \\ \\ -3 ± 2\sqrt{3}

√48 = √[3 × 16] = 4√3

½[4√3] = 2√3

Then attach half of -6 to it as well [-3]:

-3 ± 2√3

I am joyous to assist you anytime.

Together, Dante and Mia have a total of 350 pennies in their piggy banks. After Dante lost ½ of his pennies and Mia lost ⅓ of he
natta225 [31]

Answer:

Altogether they lost 150 pennies.

Step-by-step explanation:

X = Dante's pennies

Y = Mia's pennies

X + Y = 350                                       1/2 X = 2/3 Y

                                                                X = 4/3 Y

4/3 Y + Y = 350

7/3 Y = 350

Y = 350 * 3/7

Y = 50 * 3

Y = 150

X + 150 = 350

X = 200

                                                     1/2 * 200 = 2/3 * 150

                                                       100 .      =   100

1/2 * 200 = 100 -> Dante lost 100 pennies

1/3 * 150 = 50 -> Mia lost 50 pennies

Altogether they lost 150 pennies.

7) -6x + 6y=6<br> -6x + 3y=-12
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

(5,6)

Step-by-step explanation:

-6x+6y=6

-6x + 3y =-12

Multiply the first equation by -1

6x-6y=-6

Add this to the second equation

6x-6y=-6

-6x + 3y =-12

---------------------

       -3y = -18

Divide each side by -3

-3y/-3 = -18/-3

y =6

Now we need to find x

6x - 6y = -6

6x -6(6) = -6

6x -36 = -6

Add 36 to each side

6x-36+36 = -6+36

6x = 30

Divide each side by 6

6x/6 = 30/6

x =5
