Find the number of distinguishable permutations of the letters PEPPERONI. NO LINKS!!!!
ohaa [14]
<h3>Answer:  30,240</h3>

This is is one value (and not two values separated by a comma) and it's slightly over 30 thousand.

========================================================

Explanation:

There are n = 9 letters in the word "PEPPERONI"

If we could tell all the letters apart, there would be 9! = 9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 362,880 permutations, and that would be the answer.

However, we have repeated letters that we cannot tell apart. The P shows up a = 3 times, and the E shows up b = 2 times. So we need to divide by a!*b! = 3!*2! = 6*2 = 12 to correct for the overcounting. That leads to the final answer of (362,880)/(12) = 30,240

Given: Line AD is congruent Line CD; Angle 3 is congruent to Angle 4
loris [4]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : AD=CD and

           ∠3=∠4

To prove : Line DB bisects ∠ABC

                i.e.∠ABD=∠CBD

Proof :  Consider ΔABD and ΔCBD,

\angle3=\angle4\ \{given\}\\\\\implies 180\textdegree-\angle3=180\textdegree-\angle4\\\\\implies\angle 1=\angle 2

and

AD=CD\ \{given\}

and

BD=BD\ \{common\}

So, ΔABD ≅ ΔCBD (By SAS criterion}

Hence , By CPCT (corresponding part of congruent triangle}

∠ABD=∠CBD

Therefore, Line DB bisects ∠ABC.

The area of the triangle is 1 ⅗ square inches. If the base of the triangle is 1 ⅕ inches, what is the height?
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

The height of the triangle is 2.66666667

Formula needed is Area= base times height divided by 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Personally the way I did it might be a bit harder, but. converted the fractions to decimals. 1 3/5 turns into 1.6 as the overall area of the triangle, and 1 1/5 turns into 1.2. So now that we have everything convered we need to do the exact opposite of the formula. The last step of the formula is the forst step we do, but just opposite. 1.6 as the area get multiplied by 2 to get 3.2. Then 3.2 gets divied by the base which is 1.2 to get 2.66666667 to be exact. However this can be rounded to 2.7 as well.
