Answer:

Despite Johnny being charged with manslaughter, he would probably avoid the charge by pleading self-defense. Bob Sheldon and his Soc friends initiated the altercation, and Bob was attempting to drown Ponyboy, which is the reason Johnny intervened.

Johnny and Ponyboy ran away because Darry slapped Ponyboy and it aggravated Ponyboy.

Johnny killed Bob out of self defense. He knew that another beating was coming, and he killed Bob before it started. Johnny also killed Bob to protect Ponyboy.

Explanation:

hope this helps!!

ponyboy got in a fight or argument with his brother Danny, so Johnny takes out a knife to stab Bob, the Soc who tried to drown ponyboy. Ponyboy is afraid of getting sent to the reformatory and Johnny might die from the electric chair. (that's all I know from the story and movie for real)

The correct answer is panicky.
The author himself says that there were a lot of things around him that made him feel nervous, or the exact word he used is - panicky. I don't know the context, however, based on this excerpt it seems that he went through something dangerous or tragic that made him feel panicky about many things around him.

What did the 10th amendment of the constitution establish? Why was this important for American rights?
Reptile [31]

In sum, the Constitution's Framers thought that a bill of rights was appropriate for an unlimited government, but not for a limited one like the national government created by the Constitution. The Tenth Amendment warns against using a list of rights to infer powers in the national government that were not granted.
