DIA [1.3K]

Option A. If a historian takes a source out of context, she is likely to:

A. misunderstand the intended meaning of historical actions.

What does it mean to take things out of context?

This is used to refer to the fact that a person is taking what is being said outside of the meaning that the message is supposed to convey. It has to do with not being able to understand what is said and interpreting it accordingly.

In this situation, when the historian takes things out of their context, then it means that they would not understand the true meaning of the happenings of that period.

How did the Cold War begin and how did the nuclear weapons make it a Cold War
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Before the Cold War, the atomic age started. Three nations: England, USA and Soviet Union, decided that during World War II, they would construct the nuclear bomb. Britain set aside its own job and became a junior partner in 1943 of the Manhattan Project. Before August 1945, the Soviet effort was tiny. British and U.S projects were motivated by fear of a German nuclear bomb, but Germany chose not to make any severe attempts in 1942 to construct the bomb. The United States produced two bombs ready for use by August 1945, in an exceptional show of science and industrial power. By that time, Germany had been defeated, but President Harry S. Truman chose to use the Japan bomb.

I hope this helps you out alot, and as always, I am joyous to assist anyone at any time.
