Answer:

Acceleration of the electron will be 0.379\times 10^{16}m/sec^2

Explanation:

We have given electric field E=2.16\times 10^4N/C

Charge on electron q=1.6\times 10^4C

So force in the electron F=qE=1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 2.16\times 10^{4}=3.456\times 10^{-15}N

Mass of electron m=9.11\times 10^{-31}kg

Now according to newton second law

F = ma, here m is mass and a is acceleration

So 3.456\times 10^{-15}=9.11\times 10^{-31}a

a=0.379\times 10^{16}m/sec^2

So acceleration of the electron will be 0.379\times 10^{16}m/sec^2

What is the strength of electric field EpEp 0.60 mmmm from a proton? Express your answer to two significant figures and include
disa [49]

Answer:

3.99*10^-3N/C

Explanation:

Using

Ep= kq/r²

Where r = 0.6mm = 0.6*10^-3m

K= 8.9*10^9 and q= 1.6*10^-19

So = 8.9*10^9 * 1.6*10^-19/0.6*10^-3)²

= 3.99*10^-3N/C

What is Dark Matter?
AveGali [126]

Explanation:

dark matter is a form of matter thought to account for approximately 85% of the matter in the universe and about a quarter of its total mass–energy density or about 2.241×10⁻²⁷ kg/m³. Its presence is implied in a variety of astrophysical observations, including gravitational effects that cannot be explained by accepted theories of gravity unless more matter is present than can be seen. For this reason, most experts think that dark matter is abundant in the universe and that it has had a strong influence on its structure and evolution. Dark matter is called dark because it does not appear to interact with the electromagnetic field, which means it doesn't absorb, reflect or emit electromagnetic radiation, and is therefore difficult to detect.

A lava flow baking a rock is an example of which type of metamorphism
JulsSmile [24]
<span>A lava flow baking a rock is an example of: contact metamorphism

Contact metamorphism is a form of metamorphism that CHANGES the texture of the rock.When the lava makes contact with the rock, the structural particle bond that binds the rocks is destroyed because of the extreme heat. This will change the texture of the rock and make it appear baked.</span>

A conducting wire formed in the shape of a right triangle with base b = 25 cm and height h = 66 cm and having resistance R = 1.1
NemiM [27]

Answer:

\omega=4.19 \,rad.s^{-1}

Explanation:

To find:

angular frequency of rotation, ω=?

Given that:

  • base of wire triangle, b = 25 cm
  • height of wire triangle, h = 66 cm
  • electrical resistance , R = 1.1 Ω
  • time taken to make 1 rotation about the height through the base,T= 1.5s
  • magnetic field in +z direction out of the screen, B = 1.8 T

Since the wire does not carry any current therefore the magnetic field will have no impact on it.

Now, as we know:

angular frequency

\omega= \frac{2\pi}{T}

\omega=4.19 \,rad.s^{-1}
