I think that the missing word here is:
"with the amount of the material that Michelle has"

Let's say that her landing strip is x miles long, then its area would be:

\frac{1}{6} *x

We also know how big it is:

\frac{1}{6} *x= \frac{1}{1 500}

now, let's multiply both sides by 6:
\frac{6}{6} *x= \frac{6}{1 500}
1 *x= \frac{3}{750}
x= \frac{1}{250}

So the answer is that it would be x= \frac{1}{250} miles wide

What is 31,084.5 expanded notation
Svet_ta [14]

Answer:

30000+1000+80+4+0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Expanded notation can be defined as to rewrite the numbers to show their place values

For example in the given question 3 is at the tenth thousand place, 1 is at the thousand'th place,8 at tenth and 4 at unit place so the solution for the question is given below:

30000+1000+80+4+0.5

3×10000+1×1000+8×10+4×1+(5×1÷10)

Select the solution(s) of log2x=1−log(x+4).
mart [117]

Step-by-step explanation:

log2x = 1 - log(x+4)

log2x = log10 - log(x+4)

log2x = log[10/(x+4)]

2x = 10/(x+4)

2x(x+4) = 10

2x² + 8x - 10 = 0

÷2 both sides of equation

x² + 4x - 5 = 0

(x+5)(x-1) = 0

x = -5, 1

x isn't be -5 because logA, A need to be > 0

So, x value is 1
